Hi, I'm Molly! I'm a mom, photographer, educator, dog-lover, and adventurer. My goal is to capture the essence of whomever or whatever meets my lens. This happens through connection and curiosity, two values I live by.
A little about me

Beginnings
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, with its stark landscapes and harsh winters. As a young adult, I made my way West, preferring more open and varied landscapes. I have settled here with my son and dog in NE Portland and continue to find new places to explore all the time.

Relationship with nature
I love nature and adventure. I have traveled far and wide across the globe, but am most at home in the verdant forests or windy beaches of Oregon. Capturing images of these places never seems to stop giving me a thrill.

Photography
I started my photographic journey like many, with a high school photography class. Then I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Fine Art Photography. I focused on it for purely personal enjoyment for many years, and have now made the journey into a new photography business adventure.

Interesting Fact
Not only am I a photographer, I also have my Masters in Education. I spend much of my time teaching young children the foundations of language and literacy as a specialist in a public elementary school.
